The majority of website traffic is driven by the search engines. Millions of people use search engines every day to research various topics, buy products, and go about their daily surfing activities. Search engines use keywords to help users find relevant information, and each of the major search engines has developed a unique algorithm to determine where websites are placed within the search results. When a user clicks on one of the listings in the search results, they are directed to the corresponding website and data is transferred from the website's server, thus counting the visitors towards the overall flow of traffic to that website.
Google started testing responsive text ads this spring and announced at Google Marketing Live in July that the new ad format would roll out globally over the next few months. Unlike with standard text ads, with responsive search ads, Google uses machine learning to determine which combination of headlines and descriptions to show to a user. Advertisers can enter as many as 15 headlines and four descriptions.

We wanted to talk about in-text advertising because there is often confusion about our SkimWords technology and whether or not it is comparable to the products offered by companies like Vibrant and Amobee. The first difference is that SkimWords does not generate a display ad when you hover. We do offer a product flyover option which brings up a product image and shopping link when you hover over certain keywords, but these are product suggestions, not ads. The second difference is that in-text ads are exclusively CPC, while Skimwords is not.

Google will start rolling out its responsive search ads to more accounts in English, French, German and Spanish starting in September. Responsive text ads can display with three headlines and two descriptions with up to 90 characters each. In the meantime, the company is extending the added real estate benefits of these longer units to existing text ads.
First, I will show you a quick snapshot of the traffic uplift, which yielded an additional 400,000 unique visitors from organic search traffic on a monthly basis. Then I will explain to you the steps in which we took to get the client to this level. I have also tried to keep this quite general so everyone can adapt their own situation to this case study.
Make sure that your site is accessible across multiple digital devices, especially smartphones. Statistics show that more and more people are using mobile devices to conduct web searches, and using desktop devices less. Making customers navigate your desktop site on a mobile device is basically the same thing as telling them to take their business elsewhere.
At our agency, we work with sites of varying sizes, from very large to quite small, and recently, we have noticed a trend at the enterprise level. These sites aren’t relying as much on Google for traffic any more. Not only are they not relying on Google traffic, but also, the sites are getting less than 10 percent (or slightly more) of their organic traffic from the search giant.
Select 'Check for Other Available Hearing Dates'. When you then select 'Continue', the page will display other available hearing dates. If there is no button for 'Check for Other Available Hearing Dates,' the hearing for the ticket(s) was previously re-scheduled, and you cannot re-schedule again online. You must contact the TVB to re-schedule your hearing.
When someone visits a website, their computer or other web-connected device communicates with the website's server. Each page on the web is made up of dozens of distinct files. The site's server transmits each file to user browsers where they are assembled and formed into a cumulative piece with graphics and text. Every file sent represents a single “hit”, so a single page viewing can result in numerous hits.
