The problem I have is that there are no top bloggers in my market or wikipedia articles with deadlinks that have to do with my market. 95% of my traffic and sales are generated via Facebook paid advertising. There are quite a lot of sites that will sell you access to their lists. I am not going to specifically recommend any of them to you. Why? Because what works for one person is not going to work for another. Even if you’re in the same niche – say weight loss – the people you’re targeting and who’s actually on the list may not be a match. In other words, it’s entirely possible two competent marketers could both mail to the same list and get wildly different results.

I’m a bit confused with the Solo Ads method. Do you only have to give them your affiliate link? Is it necessary providing the ad seller a text or an already created email? I’m saying this because some seller seems to make the ad copy text for you. In Udimi you can even send only the URL link without including text. I’m not sure how this works. Thank you.
I have purchased traffic both inside and outside of marketplaces. Now while it’s true that most sellers are honest, if you are dealing with vendors individually you are going to run across the occasional bad one who may not necessarily fail to deliver any traffic, but may send you a bunch of useless clicks. This does happen on occasion and I’ve had it happen to me. This is why it’s important to build up your own personal ‘rolodex’ of sellers over time that you buy from on a repeated basis.
Even the best ad will fall flat if you forget to check for errors and typos. The best way to review is to set your ad copy aside for a few hours after you’ve finished writing, and then proofread it again. Check structure first, then word choice, then spelling, and finally punctuation, or what have you. Reading your ad backward is another way to catch typos. Some PPC marketers like to create their own proofreading checklist and use it each time they build a new campaign.

A few days back I was looking for ways to increase traffic on my tech blog, I found this blog post by you while I was looking out for possible tricks to increase traffic. I must say that few of the tricks mentioned above really worked for me. For example, I updated a few old posts on my blog, I did try the broken link building technique and the last I did was to repost my content on Medium.
Make sure you know your target audience, and what they opted into your list for. If the squeeze page told them that they were getting on a list to receive more information about tea kettles, don’t send them an ad on auto parts(common sense stuff guys, but you’d be surprised). Come up with a catchy subject line. Try to keep the subject line short, sweet and appealing. Think of old headlines from marketing companies that enticed you to open their email.
